Position SummaryThe Project Engineer will own the design of operations, offices, and production lines to maximize the use of available space and improve production efficiency.
ResponsibilitiesIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, costs, safety, quality, or sustainabilityUtilize data to justify projectsEstimates project costs including facilities infrastructure, equipment, materials, labor, etc and monitors the project vs planServe as point of contact for facilities maintenanceManage site documentation (AutoCAD drawings, certifications, etc)Recommend production/operations equipment, layouts, or purchases required to meet organizational needsRequirements:
QualificationsBS Degree required3
years of facilities/process/industrial engineering experienceExperience working distribution facilitiesExperience overseeing facilities maintenanceSuccessful track record of project implementationAbility to travel to support projects outside of Santa ClaritaFamiliarity with sustainabilityCompetencies / SkillsStrong organizational skillsStrong problem-solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAutoCAD proficiencyCollaborative problem solvingAbility to work autonomouslyJPMS is an equal opportunity employer,committed to creating an inclusive and belonging environment for all employees.
